Thee Cover Girl produces international Champion!

Thee Cover Girl, a Thee Desperado daughter owned by HRH King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, produced this year’s Reserve Senior Champion Mare at Germany’s All Nations Cup! Her 2000 filly Bint Al Shamal, sired by Koronec, received her ribbon shown by our friend Frank Spoenle for King Abdullah.
In 2007, Bint Al Shamal also earned the following titles:
- Vilhelmsborg International A Show Senior Champion Mare, Denmark
- Strohen International B Show Senior Champion Mare, Germany
It was many years ago that Saudi Arabia’s HRH King Abdullah and his sons purchased a group of horses from Arabians Ltd for their Al Janadriya Farm, including Thee Cover Girl (out of HMT Inasa by the Minstril). Their influence in his breeding program has been huge!
In 2005, our General Manager Shawn Crews attended the Saudi Arabian National Championships as HRH’s guest and helped present Bint Al Shamal with her championship ribbon there.
