Success at NTAHC Shootout Show!

November 19th, 2008

Arabians Ltd.

At this weekend’s 2008 NTAHC Shootout in Glen Rose, Texas, Arabians Ltd. showed 4 Egyptian Arabian client horses to 6 ribbons!

KBF Starlight

Leading the sweep was the knockout 2-year-old filly KBF Starlight, above (Thee Desperado x MC Alexsis), owned by Carolyn Busch and bred by Karl and Jacki Breckon. Shawn Crews showed her to the Junior Champion Filly and Reserve Grand Champion Mare titles! With a pedigree of true straight Egyptian Arabian royalty, it’s no surprise!

Head trainer Luis Paniagua showed the other 3 straight Egyptians to their wins:

KBF Starlight

Yearling filly LL Al Zanbuk, above (Thee Infidel x Thee Jessenia by Thee Desperado) followed right behind her with a Reserve Junior Champion Filly win.

Arabians Ltd.

Zanbuk is the foundation Egyptian Arabian mare for Dan and Joann O’Shea, above, and was bred by longtime breeder Lyn Rogers. Dan also showed Zanbuk to 1st Place in the Amateur Owner Fillies 2 & Under!

GJR Zenith

Not to be outdone, the two colts in competition made a great showing as well. GJR Zenith, above (Thee Asil x E Ses), bred and owned by George Junior Republic, was Junior Champion Colt. The bay yearling is another great example of Thee Asil’s prowess as a champion-producing sire.

Infidels Flame

Infidels Flame, above (Thee Infidel x Minstrils Nafia), was Reserve Grand Champion Gelding! The 7-year-old chestnut showed for breeder and owner Suzanna Hupp.

It was the first show for many of these young horses, and they showed beautifully! Congratulations to the breeders and owners of these top quality Egyptian Arabian horses.
