A tall chestnut stallion with an extremely proud carriage and attitude, Thee Asil possesses an unbelievably long neck, the longest in the stallion barn. A son of Thee Desperado, Asil’s female lineage traces back to Sakr, a stallion known for passing along his magnificent movement. He’s been shown successfully under saddle and at halter—he was Champion of his 3-Year-Old Colts class at the 2000 Egyptian Event.
Asil is the ‘gossip’ of the stallions—he always wants to know what’s going on, who’s coming and going, and what everyone else’s business is.
At the 2007 Egyptian Event, Asil had three babies representing him. All three brought home blue ribbons, and his 3-year-old son Revelations ASA, out of Pimlicos Ghailan, was Reserve Junior Champion colt and was bought by well-known breeders in Egypt just before his win!
Interestingly, Thee Asil usually produces bay-colored babies, even though he’s a glowing chestnut.
