A dark bay stallion who radiates personality and friendliness, Pimlico RCA is a favorite in the Arabians Ltd. barn because of his innate love for people and his jokester attitude. The comedian of the barn, he is constantly ensuring that people remember him when they leave the farm. He is a ham, begging for attention and competing with Mishaal for who’s going to get the first scratch from Marketing Director John Neyer when he walks into the barn.

Pimlico was bred by clients Debra and David Geiser, and Jim and Judy bought him sight unseen because they loved the combination of his bloodlines. His mother Bint Bint Jamil, as a granddaughter of the great stallion Jamil, carried rare blood that they knew crossed well with sire Thee Desperado, and they’ve been proven right many times over.

 

 

 

Pimlico arrived at Arabians Ltd. as a scruffy weanling from Virginia, and he matured slowly. As he grew up, though, his potential, beauty, and movement just kept getting better and better, and his show records prove it. It appears that the best is still ahead for the 10-year-old, and he is a gorgeous presence in our lives.

 

 

 

Pimlico RCA is the only stallion in the barn who holds the title of Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion, an honor he received in an unprecedented unanimous win in 2004. He topped off a full, never-before-accomplished sweep of the Championships at that year’s Event, as Arabians Ltd. and its clients won all 4 ribbons awarded in the finals! The previous year, in 2003, Pimlico was Champion of the Event’s 6-9 Year Old Stallion Class. He was a Top 5 stallion at the 2006 AHA Region 9 Championships, and in 2007, he was crowned Champion Stallion! A Western Pleasure winner under saddle as well, Pimlico displays a beautiful trot that makes people sit up and take notice.

“Pimmy,” as he’s known around the barn, passes his wonderful, friendly personality along to his babies, and physically, he creates beautiful, extremely typey faces in his foals.
