One of the farm’s true foundation Egyptian Arabian mares, Maali RCA was one of the last straight Egyptian producing daughters of the legendary United States Reserve National Champion Ruminaja Ali before her retirement in 2009. The last daughter owned by Arabians Ltd., Maali has been cherished by her lifelong owner Judy Sirbasku. She exhibits the fire and pride that characterize the quintessential Egyptian Arabian. A tall, striking chestnut, Maali is the daughter of *Masira, an outstanding athletic mare imported from Hungary’s Balbona Stud. Her family is known for passing down athleticism, size and amazing faces. Maali is reminiscent of her ancestor, Moniet El Nefous and noted for her luminous black eyes.

Maali RCA’s foals:

Maali is an outstanding producer of both Egyptian Arabian stallions and mares, and her offspring have been sold and treasured all over the world. Her very first colt, The Makers Mark (by The Minstril) was named Reserve National Champion of South Africa at the youthful age of 2. The Saudi Arabian national stud purchased her sons The Profile (by The Minstril) and Thee Makers Mark (by Thee Desperado) for their renowned breeding program. Through her daughter The Prevue (by The Minstril), Maali is granddam to our stallion Alixir (by The Elixir).

Her daughter Maalis Rebecah, by The Elixir, is a chestnut mare with substance and style. Maalis Rebecah, also owned by Judy Sirbasku, is producing her own legacy by the foals born of her breedings to Thee Desperado.

Mishaali RCA, x Mishaal HP x Maali RCA

In 2005, Maali delivered a striking grey colt by Mishaal HP. This colt, part of Mishaal’s first US foal crop, was named Mishaali RCA and has just returned from a lease to non-Egyptian breeders, who chose him to bring his incredible face and substantive, athletic body to their breeding program.

In 2007, at the age of 20, Maali delivered a beautiful Mishaal HP filly for the farm.

She did it again in January of 2008, producing another grey filly by our outcross sire Mishaal HP!

Maali RCA is now enjoying a well-deserved retirement from breeding and we look forward to seeing more of her bloodlines on the farm in the coming years.
