Bint Magidaa and Miss Maggie Mae
Few broodmares have as great a legacy to fulfill as the standard set by Bint Magidaa, and even fewer fulfill expectations this monumental. Bint Magidaa’s daughter Miss Maggie Mae is one of the elite few. The iconic photo of mother and her newest daughter in the straw seems to suggest a passing of the legacy from a queen to her newest princess.

Jointly owned by longtime friends Mark & Nancy Ness and Arabians Ltd. owners Jim & Judy Sirbasku, the beautiful, flea-bitten Miss Maggie Mae is regal and aristocratic, with large, dark eyes, a small, sculpted muzzle and perfectly shaped ears.

Miss Maggie Mae
A result of the cross between the now-retired and world famous sire The Minstril and the legendary Bint Magidaa, Miss Maggie Mae is a genetic treasure. Through Bint Magidaa, who was 21 when Maggie Mae was born, she is a half-sibling to such greats as Ruminaja Ali, Bint Bint Magidaa, Alidaar, and barnmate Thee Infidel. Her half-sister Magidaas Image also shares the broodmare pasture with her at Arabians Ltd.
While Miss Maggie Mae was cleverly named in tribute to her immortal mother, she’s memorable now for more than her moniker. Over the course of her career as a broodmare, she has produced foals that have been exported all over the world and back to the homelands of their ancestors. Her dam, Bint Magidaa, established one of the greatest stallion-producing lines in the entire Arabian horse world. Miss Maggie Mae has carried on that tradition as the dam of international champion stallions who are now themselves the sires of winning foals. Her daughters are just as impressive.
Her foals include:

Savannah CC, by Thee Desperado, 1997 Grey Mare, dam of Israeli National Champion Colt Nader Al Jamal

Arabians Ltd. is home to many of the finest Egyptian Arabian broodmares in the world, but Miss Maggie Mae ranks as royalty among these beauties.
