Judy and Jim Sirbasku and Arabians Ltd. are thrilled to announce that their world-famous herd sire Thee Desperado is being immortalized as a Breyer model horse! Thee Desperado will be the FIRST and ONLY Egyptian Arabian ever chosen to become a Breyer model.
Judy and Jim believe this is an honor befitting the horse and his innumerable accolades both as a show horse and as a sire, including the unprecedented accomplishment of being crowned Leading Sire for 11 Years and counting at the Egyptian Event.

Full brothers Bellagio RCA and Mirajh RCA are the poster boys for the 2008 Egyptian Event! A photo of the two stallions are featured on the Pyramid Society’s homepage and in print ads for the 2008 Egyptian Event! Bellagio and Mirajh both won championships at the 2005 Egyptian Event, shortly before Mirajh left for his new home in Egypt.
At the Lone Star Classic in early April, Arabians Ltd. showed 2 horses and brought home 2 championships! Arabians Ltd. junior sire The Sequel RCA (Thee Desperado x La Marsala) was Champion Stallion, and 2-year-old filly KBF Starlight (left) (Thee Desperado x MC Alexsis) earned a Champion Mare ribbon for owner Carolyn Busch. Starlight will show at the Egyptian Event this year, and Sequel is welcoming some gorgeous babies this foaling season!

April 5-6th, Arabians Ltd. hosted its semi-annual client-only seminar, and this one was its biggest ever! We welcomed over 120 clients from all over the country for a weekend filled with experts sharing knowledge and, as always, a huge celebration of the Egyptian Arabian horse.

This weekend, we had 2 additional reasons to celebrate. First, exactly 19 years ago on April 5th, Thee Desperado was born! As he was presented in his beautiful Egyptian Event 11 Year Leading Sire blanket, a hush fell over the crowd, followed by cheers. With a birthday celebration fit for a king, Desperado “met” his Breyer horse likeness, enjoyed a carrot cake, and was serenaded with an acapella, folky rendition of “Happy Birthday” by the famous Dash Crofts, who owns one of his daughters with his wife Louise.
