Shawn Crews showed this beautiful mare to her ribbon last weekend, just after they’d returned from capturing a Championship at the 2009 Egyptian Event together!

Thee Desperado at age 20, June 2009.

Arabians Ltd. stallions made quite a mark through their foals at the 2009 Egyptian Event! Two stood out on Finals Night: Thee Desperado and Alixir!

Thee Desperado sired both the Supreme Champion Mare, Ramses Minx (Thee Desperado x Ramses Effendi), and the Supreme Champion Stallion, Botswana (Thee Desperado x The Minuet)! Congratulations to owners Allison Mehta and The Botswana Trust!

Alixir is the sire of Junior Champion Colt Lexor Al Mar (Alixir x Alia MAR (Thee Infidel x Aliashahm RA))! Congratulations to Lexor’s breeder Bob Miars!

Both Thee Desperado and Alixir are expected to be near the top of the list of Leading Halter Sires of Winners at the 2009 Egyptian Event, and will be joined by other stallions from the Arabians Ltd. stallion barn. We’ll let you know the official results as soon as they’re available!

Frank Spönle’s Second US Foal Arrives!

New: A full sister to FS Thee Cinderella was born on April 8th!

Congratulations to international Arabian trainer Frank Spoenle on the arrival of his first American-born foal! Born February 15th via embryo transfer to Padrons Psyche daughter Christina JD, this Egyptian-sired Thee Desperado filly is big, bay and beautiful!

Frank is so happy with this filly, who he’s named FS Thee Cinderella, that he has made plans to keep her in the US and show her here in 2010! He’s also breeding Christina back to Thee Desperado for 2010.

Thee Desperado’s stud book is still open to non-straight Egyptian mares! Let us know if you’re interested in creating a beautiful foal like Cinderella!

2009 Cowtown Classic Results!

At last week’s Cowtown Classic Arabian Horse Show, horses from the Arabians Ltd. show string gave a great performance! Our Egyptian Arabian stallions and their offspring were well-represented in competition against Arabians of all bloodlines, and we were joined by many special clients and friends to celebrate our victories.

Our amateur handler division was well-represented by the youngest handler of the show, Mikayla Adams, earning a 3rd place, AOTR here with Lady Mishaal RCA!

Breaking news from the 2009 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show: The Bandera won Reserve Champion in the Arabian Hunter Pleasure AATR 40 and Over, and he was Top 10 in the Arabian Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse Championship!!

Mare Lease Program produces rare filly

At the end of January, a once-in-a-lifetime straight Egyptian Arabian filly was born. Through the Arabians Ltd. Mare Lease Program, Keri and Carolee Wright chose Magidaas Image, one of only two remaining daughters of Aristocratic mare Bint Magidaa, to produce their 2009 foal. Magidaas Image (The Minstril x Bint Magidaa) was bred to Thee Infidel, a two-time U.S. National Top Ten Stallion and the only remaining son of Bint Magidaa in the U.S., to produce this baby.
