PR Desert Rose+, Thee Desperado x AK Nadara by Moniet El Sharaf

Congratulations to Thee Desperado daughter US National Champion Mare PR Desert Rose+, who earned a Top Five ribbon in the Kuwait National Arabian Horse Championship Show Friday, February 19th!

The straight Egyptian Arabian PR Desert Rose+ was also a Top Ten Canadian Nationals Mare before Burhan A. Bakeer of Safari Stud in Kuwait purchased and exported her. Al and Judi Parks sold PR Desert Rose+ to Mr. Bakeer for her breeder, Park Ridge Arabians.

This was the FIRST annual Kuwait National Arabian Horse Championship Show, and Arabians Ltd. is honored to have been represented through a daughter of our most famous resident!

Congratulations to Lola SIG (Mishaal HP x Thee Phoenixx x Thee Infidel), a 2010 Scottsdale Top Ten Filly and championship finalist! She earned her ribbon on Saturday, February 13th and was shown by our friend Greg Knowles!

We will be cheering on this beautiful straight Egyptian Arabian show filly at the Championships of the 2010 Scottsdale All Arabian Show on Wednesday, February 17.

Lola, bred by Eric and Stacey Mlak and out of their champion mare Thee Phoenixx, is already an Egyptian Event Reserve Champion.

This 2-year-old is an outstanding example of Mishaal HP’s offspring. She’ll be shown at Arabian Expressions after each morning session of the show and anyone who wants to see her up close is welcome to attend!

Okovanggo (Thee Desperado x HMT Inasa)

Arabians Ltd. would like to send its best wishes to the La Porta family of Nicosia, Sicily, Italy on their plans with the beautiful Thee Desperado son Okovanggo!

Bred by Arabians Ltd., Okovanggo was an Egyptian Event EBC Champion here in the US before he was exported overseas as a young horse. He had a successful career in Spain with famous Arabian breeders Marietta Salas and Maria Pilar Cavero before making his home in Sicily, Italy with the La Porta family, who plan to show him in Europe throughout the 2010 season!

Okovanggo’s older sister, Thee Cover Girl, was purchased by the royal stables of King Abdullah in Saudi Arabia, where she produced champion mare Bint Al Shamal (x Koronec).

Okovanggo’s pedigree is one that we treasure at Arabians Ltd., and we have two of his full sisters in our broodmare band: Kiyasa RCA, who is crossing beautifully with Alixir, and Bint Inasa RCA, who is impressing us with her foals by Mishaal HP.

Check back for updates as Okovanggo makes his mark on the European show circuit, and congratulations to the La Porta family on owning such an Egyptian Arabian treasure!

We are happy to report that El Galal I (Alixir x Bint Imaara by Alidaar) has arrived safely in Cairo, Egypt! His new owner, Ahmed Amer, was so excited to see him that he slept in his car waiting for the 2-year-old to arrive! El Galal settled into quarantine without incident and Mr. Amer took pictures on his cell phone as the colt was admired by his guard (above) and El Galal admired the mares in the nearby stalls.

El Galal I was bred by Jim and Constance Markham and was a Reserve Champion at the 2009 Egyptian Event. Arabians Ltd. is honored to be strengthening the bloodlines of the Egyptian Arabian in Egypt.

Thee Epitome RCA, The Sequel RCA x Imdala RCA, at home in Cairo

Egyptian Event Champion Thee Epitome RCA is now a breeding stallion in Egypt! The beautiful 3-year-old, owned by Mr. Moustafa Masry of Cairo, Egypt, is expecting his first foal crop at the end of the year.

Last fall Thee Epitome made an exciting journey overseas, even taking in some of the sights on the streets of downtown Cairo en route to his new home. His pedigree and beauty should combine to produce beautiful foals and we are pleased that he’s found such a great home with Mr. Masry in the land of his ancestors.

We are proud to announce that Thee Desperado was selected to be the January 2010 centerfold at straightegyptians.com!

In his 21st year, Thee Desperado is being recognized by an international forum for his contributions to straight Egyptian Arabian bloodlines on every continent, as well as to the Arabian breed at large. Congratulations to “the big guy”–we all continue to be blessed by his presence in our lives.

The show was concurrent, meaning that there were two judges and shows going on at the same time, causing two placings for each horse.

Arabians Ltd. is excited to announce the arrival of our very first foal for 2010, an adorable BLACK colt out of our foundation mare Abriel RCA and sired by our herd sire Thee Desperado!

We are eagerly anticipating a beautiful new crop of straight Egyptian Arabian foals this year and we will post birth announcements as the babies arrive on our New Foals page–so check back often!
